We are so excited to introduce Team Mini Hawks this year! 🎉

This new program will replace our traditional Learn to Swim class and is designed especially for our youngest swimmers to build confidence, develop skills, and feel like part of the team — just like the big kids!

Ages: 3–5 years old
Yes! Our 5- year olds who may not feel ready to compete (or simply don’t want to) are welcome to join Team Mini Hawks. They can choose between the competitive team and Team Mini Hawks — whatever feels like the best fit.

Should my 5 year old join the swim team or the Mini Hawks?

We encourage all 5 year olds to join the team. The team starts practicing in May. So they get more swim time in. Many of our 5 year olds are not swimming when they join. But by the first meet they have made significant progress. You can always opt out of meets at any point in time. Our coaches start out in the water with our 5-6 swimmers. The coaches will only put them in events they are ready for. Our wonderful coaches can help answer any questions you have about your swimmer during our swim season. 

Mini Hawks is right for your 5 year old if:

• They are fearful of the water
• You know they don't want to do swim meets
• They only practice in June.

  Led by our wonderful swim coaches
• Low swimmer-to-coach ratios (approximately 1:4)
• Mock Mini Meet at our End-of-Season Banquet
• Flexible attendance — no more worrying about make-ups for weather, sickness, or vacation. Just come when you’re able!

Why the Change?

Many teams in the surrounding area offer a developmental program for their youngest swimmers to focus on skill-building before entering competition. We believe Team Mini Hawks will:

• Build stronger, more confident swimmers
• Provide increased swim time for our youngest athletes
• Create a smoother transition into our competitive team

Registration includes a team t-shirt!

$ 160 per swimmer. Plus the 3.31 technology fee (for registration).

The Mini Hawks registration fee is $160 . Since this is a brand new program, the pricing is set at this rate for the season and won't change. 

While payment is not due until May 14, we encourage families to register early. Early registration helps us plan coaching assignments, group sizes, and lane space to ensure the best experience for our Mini Hawks swimmers. If you're considering joining, go ahead and reserve your spot!

You will register using the Swim Team registration site, once you enter the athlete's information you will be defaulted to Mini Hawks due to age. Unless your child is 5 and you have the choice to choose Seahawks or Mini Hawks. 

Registration Deadline is Thursday, May 14 at Midnight.
